Delivery & Returns

1. General Information

At Bella Furniture and Salon Supplies, we are committed to providing a fast, secure, and professional delivery service across Ireland and internationally. Due to the variety, size, and value of our products, delivery charges may vary depending on weight, volume, and destination.

If you believe there has been an error with your delivery charge, or if shipping costs have discouraged you from completing your purchase, please contact us at info@bellafurniture.ie, and we will review your order individually.


2. Dispatch & Delivery Times

We aim to dispatch all available items within 5–10 working days from the date your order is confirmed. Orders placed over weekends or public holidays may require additional processing time.

  • Nationwide delivery (Ireland): orders over €100 + VAT.

  • International delivery: Calculated on a per-box basis depending on weight and destination.

  • Large furniture or special order items: Delivery may take 4–6 weeks and may require a custom quotation.

We deliver using both DPD courier (for smaller parcels) and our own Bella Furniture transport team (for large and fragile items).


3. Delivery Details

Deliveries will be made only to the address specified when placing your order. If no one is available to accept delivery, the courier may leave a calling card or attempt redelivery. A re-delivery fee may apply if a second delivery is required.

Please ensure that:

  • The delivery address provided is accurate and accessible.

  • Someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery.

  • Large furniture deliveries have adequate access (door width, stairs, hallways, etc.).

Delivery is generally made to the front door or kerbside only. Any assistance beyond this point is carried out at the customer’s own risk.

Bella Furniture and Salon Supplies cannot accept responsibility for delays or missed deliveries caused by third-party couriers, weather disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.


4. DPD Courier Deliveries

For smaller parcels shipped with DPD:

  • You will receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

  • DPD deliveries are managed independently by DPD once dispatched.

  • DPD Track & Trace investigations may take up to 15 working days.

  • We cannot intervene until the DPD investigation is completed.

6. Out of Stock Items

If an item in your order is unavailable, we will:

  • Dispatch available items immediately.

  • Notify you of the expected restock or delivery date;

  • For products purchased as a set, hold the order until all items are available, unless you request a partial shipment.


7. Special Order Items

Products marked as special order (including custom furniture and made-to-order items) may take 4–6 weeks to be delivered.
Special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where they arrive damaged or defective.


8. Force Majeure

Bella Furniture and Salon Supplies shall not be liable for any delay, suspension, or failure to deliver arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, lockouts, severe weather, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, accidents, or supplier failure.


9. Returns Policy

9.1. Damaged or Defective Goods

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@bellafurniture.ie.

  • Items must be in original packaging, unused, and with all labels and accessories.

  • Returns must be pre-approved by our customer service team.

  • We will arrange collection, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Claims made after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.


9.2. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Rights)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing a reason.

To initiate a return:

  • Contact info@bellafurniture.ie with your order number and details of the items you wish to return.

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition and packaging.

  • You are responsible for returning goods safely to us.

  • We can arrange collection, but the collection cost will be deducted from your refund.

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods.

Refunds exclude delivery charges unless the item is defective or sent in error.


9.3. Returns After 14 Days

If you wish to return a product after the 14-day cooling-off period due to a manufacturing defect, the item will be inspected. If confirmed faulty, we will repair, replace, or refund the product within a reasonable time.


9.4. Hygiene & Safety Restrictions

For hygiene reasons, certain items cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used, unless faulty or not as described. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Scissors, razors, and blades

  • Cosmetics and makeup brushes

  • Hairbrushes, combs, and styling tools

  • Hair extensions, wigs, and hairpieces

  • Body jewellery and piercing tools

  • Foot spas and pedicure accessories

  • Nail products (UV gels, gel polishes, nail accessories, etc.)

  • Peroxide, developer, and chemical liquids

  • Any sealed hygiene item that has been opened

This does not affect your statutory rights.


10. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Please include a completed return slip stating your reason for return or exchange.

  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method.

  • Delivery charges are non-refundable, except in cases of damaged or incorrect goods.

  • Exchanges are dispatched free of additional delivery charges.

  • Product colours, finishes, or textures may slightly vary from images displayed online.


11. Delivery Charges on Returns

Delivery charges will not be refunded except in cases where goods are faulty or wrongly delivered.
If an exchange is required for a defective product, we will cover the delivery cost of the replacement.


12. Order Cancellations

Orders not yet dispatched can be cancelled within 7 days of purchase by contacting info@bellafurniture.ie.
If the order has already been shipped, the standard return policy will apply.


13. Sale of Goods & Jurisdiction

All contracts between you and Bella Furniture and Salon Supplies are governed by Irish law.
Both parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
