MECHANISM OF ACTION

UMONIUM³⁸ lowers the surface tension of water so that the fluid solution penetrates the organic matter’s most inaccessible gaps. When in very close contact with the organic matter, the product causes the cytoplasmic membrane to swell until it bursts (visible protrusions on the photographs). After penetrating the membrane, the solution is diffused into the germ by the capillary effect, it poisons the nucleic liquid and causes the destruction of the microorganism.
