Methods for disinfecting protective masks:
- place the mask in an oven preheated to 70 degrees with convection switched on for 30 minutes; it is recommended to place the mask in an ovenproof dish or on aluminum foil;
- expose the mask to steam from boiling water for no longer than 10 minutes;
- place the mask in a jar and boil in a pot of water for 10-20 minutes.

Note:
Soaking the mask in high-proof alcohol or disinfecting with chlorine-based products reduces its filtration capability, which may prevent the mask from fulfilling its function.
It is also not recommended to disinfect the mask in a microwave, as some materials from which the mask is made may be damaged.
